how to design a professional live2d model for facerig, vtuber , prprlive, and animate it

Start off by importing the normal map created in Photoshop. The image is then imported into Cubism as a different file and selected as the destination. This will overwrite the diffuse texture but keep the animation already created and kept as a source 2D element

1) Start by creating 2D elements to start your model. 2) Next, import the images of the face and body into Photoshop. 3) Export the images in .xm00 format; this file format is a subset of the .jpg files. 4) In Cubism Studio, create a new layer that contains only your Xtransposed models (2D element), then just select these elements using the “Take Selected Layers” button and press OK at the prompt that appears in Windows Explorer asking if you want to take all selected layers or just one. 5) The next step is to create normal maps from each flattened Xtransposed model. 6) After this stage you should have a big 3D object with one color for every pixel in it

It is important to add a normal map and specular map to your 3D models. Normal maps provide detail to the surface of our model, while specular maps help direct light on the model when rendered in a game engine. It’s very important since it allows you to make more realistic looking characters. Today I will show you how to create a professional live2d model for facerig, vtuber , prprlive, and animate it.
